One of the main current problems of agriculture in Azerbaijan is for the farmers to enter the market, Rufiz Chiragzade, the WB chief specialist for agribusiness, said Oct. 15.
Chiragzade made this statement as part of the first Azerbaijan International Conference "Sustainable development and corporate social responsibility" (Baku CSR Conference-2015).
He said that the main reasons are the weak development of the production chain, undeveloped ties between the producers and those who recycle the products.
"In particular, the negative point is the lack of contractual arrangements between producers and processors," he said.
