Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct. 23

By Maksim Tsurkov - Trend:

Turkish low cost airlines suspended considering the issue of making flights to Azerbaijan, Arif Mammadov, AZAL Vice-President, told Trend Oct. 23.

He said that AZAL offered Pegasus to initiate low-cost flights to Gabala and Lankaran.

"They considered the offer but did not continue the negotiations because Turkish Airlines makes flights to Nakhchivan and Ganja," he said. "Perhaps, they understood that they fail to do this.

Another Turkish low cost airline Atlas Jet considered the possibility of making flights to Azerbaijan but also suspended the negotiations. As for us, we are ready to make advances to those who want to make flights to our regions."
