Azerbaijan produced 225 trucks in H1 2016, which is 58.5 percent more than in the same period 2015, Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said in a report July 14.
Azerbaijan manufactured 367 tractors in January-June 2016, or 32 percent less than in the same period 2015.
During the period, the country manufactured 56 cars, which is 82.8 percent less than in H1 2015.
Production of municipal special-purpose vehicles has increased by 87.9 percent as compared to January-June 2015 and stood at 592.
Azerbaijan manufactured 138 trailers and semi-trailers for cargo transportation in H1 2016, or 51.6 percent more than in the same period 2015.
Two vehicle manufacturing plants operate in Azerbaijan, one in Nakhchivan and another in Ganja.
