Azerbaijan imported 2,573 vehicles in H1 2016 as compared to 17,640 vehicles in H1 2015, according to the report issued by the country’s State Customs Committee.
Cars and motor vehicles accounted for 2,222 of the total number of vehicles imported by the country, said the report.
Azerbaijan imported 15,745 cars and motor vehicles in January-June 2015.
Moreover, the country imported 252 trucks in January-June 2016, as compared to 1,126 trucks in H1 2015.
The remaining part of the imports accounted for other types of vehicles.
Azerbaijan imported 26,785 vehicles in 2015 as compared to 63,368 vehicles in 2014.
