Afqan Jalilov has been appointed chairman of the board of Azerbaijan’s AGBank, according to the information posted on the bank’s website Aug. 26.
Earlier, Jalilov held the post of acting deputy chairman of the board of the AGBank. He became the chairman of the board of the AGBank after Azer Movsumov became a member of the bank’s supervisory board.
Also, Director of the AGBank's Department of Financial Control Sakina Khalafova became a member of the bank’s board, and the AGBank’s Chief Risk Officer Elnur Musayev became deputy chairman of the bank’s board.
Earlier in August, Tokay Alizade left his post of deputy chairman of the bank’s board.
AGBank started to operate in Azerbaijan in 1992. The bank has a total of 85 shareholders.
