Zaur Garaisayev has been appointed as the temporary acting chairman of the board in the Bank of Baku OJSC, says a message posted on the bank’s website Jan. 16.
The appointment took place after Abbas Ibrahimov, chairman of the board, left the bank.
Ibrahimov has been appointed as the first deputy chairman of the board in the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA). The decision to appoint Ibrahimov was made during an extraordinary meeting of the IBA Supervisory Board.
Bank of Baku was established in 2005 following the consolidation of two private banks – Bank of Baku OJSC and commercial bank IlkBank.
