Azerbaijani companies exported non-oil products worth $143 million in April 2017, according to the Export Review, published by the Azerbaijani Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communications May 24.
According to the center, 377 local companies participated in export operations over the month.
Besides oil and gas, Azerbaijan mainly exported raw gold ($ 21.3 million), tomatoes ($18.38 million), electricity ($12.6 million), polyethylene ($8.57 million) and peeled walnuts (almost $8.4 million) in April 2017.
The biggest volume of Azerbaijani products is exported to top five countries, namely, Russia ($37 million), Turkey ($32 million), Switzerland ($25 million), Georgia ($21 million) and Italy ($6 million).
