Kazakhstan's oil revenues increase

Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov spoke about the expected budget revenues for 2017, during the meeting of the Kazakh Government.

The total increase in country’s revenues is expected to reach 195.3 billion tenge.

“The revised amount of budget revenues for 2017 will be 9 trillion 691.5 billion tenge, or 18.7 percent of the country’s GDP. This includes non-oil revenues - 4.497 trillion tenge with growth of 77.9 billion tenge and oil revenues - 5.194 trillion tenge with a decrease of 14.9 billion tenge,” said Sultanov.

He added that 134.5 billion tenge of the country’s total income will be allocated as VAT refunds for exporting companies.

“It is also expected to reduce the budget deficit by 47.9 billion tenge due to overfulfillment of the revenue plan, which corresponds to the guidelines adopted within the economic union.”
