Greek investors intend to build an asphalt concrete plant with a capacity of 200 tons per hour in South Kazakhstan region, the local executive body (akimat) said in a message.
The plant will be located in South Kazakhstan’s industrial zone, and its cost will amount to $1 million.
The companies engaged in the construction of the plant are the Soldatos LLP and the NIOVI S.A. A.
The project was also presented to the head of the local akimat Zhanseit Tuimebayev. The official stressed that the region connects Central Asia, the Middle East and Europe, which allows to expand export and border trade.
“The region has 11 industrial zones and one special economic zone. There are regional development institutions that provide services to investors, as well as attract investments in the region. These institutions advise entrepreneurs and provide financial and infrastructural assistance,” said the head of the region.
The investors also plan to build an asphalt concrete plant with a capacity of 150 tons per hour in Kazakh Saryagash city, as well as to build a plant in Turkestan city with a capacity of 200 tons per hour.
