The subsidiaries of Kazakhstan’s Halyk Bank and Kazkommertsbank will merge, Kazakh Stock Exchange said in a message.
"The Board of Directors of Kazkommertsbank has decided to reorganize its subsidiary Moscommertsbank in the form of the merger with JSC NBK-Bank (subsidiary of Halyk Bank)," the message said.
Moscommertsbank is a subsidiary of Kazkom in Russia, founded in 2001.
Moscommertsbank provides a wide range of banking products, services for corporate and private clients, financial institutions.
Priority directions of its activity are crediting of the enterprises of small and average business, corporate sector, work on release of bank guarantees, acquiring in trade and service points and retail business.
