The Azerbaijani Society of Appraisers continues work on preparing the register of individuals and legal entities involved in appraisal activities in the country, Nusrat Ibrahimov, director general of the MBA Group consulting company, told Trend April 13.
He said that currently, the process is underway on collecting the necessary documents.
Ibrahimov noted that initially, it was planned to complete all the work before the end of the first quarter of 2018, however, due to the fact that the process of connecting appraiser companies to the register was delayed, the work on its creation will be completed later than the scheduled time.
“We have collected documents of about 40 companies so far and the same number of companies we will have to include in the register,” added Ibrahimov.
This sphere is regulated by Azerbaijan’s Law "On Appraisal Activities", which entered into force in 1998. The Azerbaijani Society of Appraisers was registered in 1997.
