Turkish Calik Holding is planning to build a Turkish Business Center, hotels, office of Ziraat Bank and trade and entertainment center in the center of Tashkent, Uzbek media reported citing deputy head of the Tashkent city administration on investment, innovation and development of tourism Alisher Tilyayev.
According to the report, total cost of the projects will be $400 million.
Acting head of the Tashkent city administration Jahongir Artykkhojayev and General Director of the Calik Energy Ridvan Akturk signed a memorandum of understanding on construction of the Turkish Business Center during the official visit of the Turkish president to Uzbekistan.
Artykkhojayev and Executive Director of the Ziraat Bank Huseyn Aydin also signed a memorandum of understanding on construction of an office of the Ziraat Bank and a business center.
Approximately a 2.5-hectare area will be allocated in the center of Tashkent for the construction work. The project-prospecting work will be commenced on later in 2018.
