Azerbaijan’s Naig's Co "Tovuz-Baltiya" LTD, a producer of alcoholic beverages in the country’s Tovuz city, has opened a plant in Uzbekistan, the company’s Director General Naig Ali Mammadhasanov told Trend May 4.
He said that the plant named “Fergana-Tovuz” is located in the city of Fergana and is engaged in the production of alcoholic and other beverages from pomegranate.
Its production capacity is 3-10 million bottles per year, he added.
“The plant will receive raw materials for production from Azerbaijan,” he noted. “The facility will be a kind of a platform for export of our products under the "Tovuz" brand to the countries of Central Asia.”
He added that the share of the Tovuz-Baltia LTD in the plant is 50 percent.
