Cost of the construction of the aboveground ring line of the Tashkent Metro has been increased to $422 million, the press service of the administration of the President of Uzbekistan stated.
Corresponding additions and amendments to some legislative documents have been adopted by a presidential decree of May 24.
The cost of the project was earlier reduced from $422.3 million to $320.1 million. Thus, the president once again increased the cost of the project.
According to the decree of the head of state, the state budget will allocate funds worth of 97.2 billion soums ($13.35 million). It was earlier planned to allocate $25.3 million from the budget.
The volume of centralized investments increased from $159.8 million to $208.4 million. The Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan will allocate funds for the implementation of the project amounting to $140 million. Previously, this amount was $20 million.
