Azer Turk Bank increases loan portfolio

Azerbaijan’s Azer Turk Bank increased its loan portfolio by 13.8 percent to 133.22 million manats in the second quarter of 2018, the bank’s financial report said.

In general, the bank’s assets for the second quarter increased by one percent, amounting to 313.74 million manats.

In the assets structure, 77.4 million manats accounted for cash and correspondent accounts in the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, 60.86 million manats accounted for liabilities of other banks to Azer Turk Bank and 23.1 million manats accounted for assets intended for sale.

Total liabilities of the bank for the same period increased from 255.85 million manats to 259.16 million manats. Azer Turk Bank’s liabilities to other banks and financial institutions have increased significantly, by 46.2 percent, to 102.4 million manats.

The value of customer accounts in the bank during the second quarter of 2018 decreased from 183.8 million manats to 147.4 million manats.

The authorized capital of the bank is 50 million manats.

Azer Turk Bank has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1995.
