The UK’s David Tang & Co. intends to build a business park in the capital of Uzbekistan, similar to those existing in China and the UK, the press service of the city administration said.
According to the information, a company delegation headed by President David Tang, who is also the first vice-president of the Chinese Diaspora Association in London, has visited Tashkent.
The meeting with the delegation took place in the Tashkent city administration, where the British company expressed willingness to build a business park or establish a business association in the capital.
The representatives of foreign business circles noted that companies operating in the sphere of hi-tech, IT, online commerce and innovations will be present in the new business park.
In 2016, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the UK amounted to $98.7 million, of which $10.5 million accounted for exports from Uzbekistan, and $88.2 million for imports from the UK.
