Samarkand Automobile Factory (SamAuto) presented new models of buses and trucks at the first export exhibition "Made in Uzbekistan" in Tashkent, Gazeta.uz reported referring to the press service of the enterprise.

The new city bus SAZ HC45, manufactured on the basis of the Isuzu NPR82 chassis, is equipped with a compressed natural gas (CNG) engine. Passenger capacity of the bus is 39 people, with 18 seats for passengers. The machine is equipped with an Isuzu 4HV1 engine with a capacity of 130 horsepower. Two gas cylinders have a total capacity of 300 liters.

The plant also presented an updated line of trucks of the N and F series, which comply with the Euro-3 and Euro-5 environmental standards.

The Isuzu NPR75K model features a 155 horsepower engine, manual transmission, and 7.5 tons gross weight. The cabin has a non-standard color – metallic silver.

The Isuzu FVR34Q model features a 240 horsepower engine, manual transmission, and 17 tons gross weight.

Another new model is the Isuzu CYZ dump truck with a 390 horsepower engine, manual transmission, and 33 tons total weight. Heavy-duty dump trucks were produced by the plant in 2008–2009. The plant decided to resume production due to high demand.

The company also introduced the Isuzu NPR82 truck chassis with CNG engine. The first cars of this model in 2013 were garbage trucks. The line was expanded by trucks (vans, flatbed, dump trucks) and specialized (vacuum trucks) cars.

In January-October 2018, the production of trucks increased by 5.3 percent to 3 370.

During the reporting period, 532 buses were produced in Uzbekistan, which is 32.1 percent less compared to the same period in 2017.
