Kazakhstan's Pavlodar approves 3-year budget

Budget for the next 3 years has been approved in the Kazakh city of Pavlodar. The total volume of the city budget for 2019 amounted to 78.3 billion tenge, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh media.

The head of city Department of Economy and Budget Planning Kanat Kapuov noted that the volume of own revenues is planned in the amount of 53.6 billion tenge. This is 5.6 billion tenge more than in 2018.

It is planned to allocate 20 billion tenge to finance the social sector in the city. Of these, it is planned to allocate 16.3 billion tenge for the development of education, 2 billion tenge for social protection, 1.1 billion tenge for sports, and 507 million tenge for culture.

The largest allocations, 17.4 billion tenge, are planned for the construction sector. Housing and communal services will receive 10 billion tenge.

In addition, the mayor of the city Anuar Kumpekeyev said that in 2019 it is planned to purchase 10 electric buses and 20 diesel fuel buses. It is planned to allocate 412 million tenge for these purposes.

"They will be purchased from a domestic manufacturer, the Kostanay plant. These buses are planned to be delivered to Pavlodar by the Capital City Day [July 6, 2019]," said Kumpekeyev.
