In the first ten months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), Khorasan Steel Complex Company of Iran increased production compared to the same period of the previous year, marketing and sales manager of the company Hossein Bakhtiyari said, Trend reports via Aryanews.
He noted that during the reported period, the company exported 150,618 tons of steel products, thus renewed last year's ten months record of 92,000 tons.
Moreover, the exports of the company has increased by 67 percent, he added.
In the last Iranian year, as a whole, the complex exported a total of 117,454 tons of steel products, Bakhtiyari said.
In the current year, along with its existing customers, such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Pakistan, the company delivered steel products to some new clients - Oman, the UAE and Turkey, he added.
Bakhtiyari expressed hope that despite some certain obstacles, the exports of the complex will exceed 200,000 tons by the end of the current year.
Taking new steps regarding the exports, agreements with clients, preserving the customer trust in the quality of the products, as well as the attraction of new clients are on focus of the complex, Bakhtiyari said.
