Turkey plans to construct yet another airport in 2019, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
As stated by the ministry, the new airport will be located in the west of Antalya Province.
Construction of a number of air terminals and renovation of a number of airports are currently underway in Turkey.
The ministry stated that there are currently 56 airports in Turkey.
Planned are the construction of the Rize-Artvin airport, located at the junction of Rize and Artvin provinces, as well as the Bayburt-Gumushane airport in Bayburt Province in north-eastern Turkey.
