Iran to expand agricultural export terminals

Iran Agriculture Minister Mahmoud Hojjati has indicated the necessity to expand terminals for agricultural exports and using the potential of the sectors.
Referring to necessity to boost marketing and agricultural products export, he said that the exports terminal are in major need of the agriculture sector, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The official noted the implementation of proper marketing plans for agricultural products.
"After production, the agricultural products require marketing and measures should be implemented to sell them," he said.
The minister indicated the high export capacities of the agricultural sector during inauguration of a wheat silo with annual storage capacity of 3,000 tons at Abyek County in Qazvin Province.
To mark the 40th anniversary of Islamic revolution, Hojjati has started the operation of 130 agricultural production units with $153 million investment in Qazvin Province.
