The spots for processing livestock products will be opened in two Azerbaijani districts in mid-October this year, Sakina Babayeva, head of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, told Trend.
She noted that the spots for washing and cleaning of sheep wool and skins will be opened in Imishli and Bilasuvar districts.
“We expect to open similar spots in other districts of Azerbaijan as well in order to export already processed livestock products,” she added. “In the future we plan to export sheep wool to Turkey and South Korea.”
Over 143,000 women are engaged in business in Azerbaijan, according to statistics.
The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan was created with the support of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan and was established in October 2017.
