French investors ready to invest 200M euros in economy of North Kazakhstan

The governor of the North Kazakhstan region, Kumar Aksakalov, met with the Ambassador of France to Kazakhstan Philippe Martinet, Trend reports with reference to the Kazakh media.

The press service of the head of the region stated that the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in agriculture.

French businessman Patrick Hoffman spoke about the project for the construction of a pig-breeding complex of the European level. The company is already working in the Russian Lipetsk.

The investor is ready to build the necessary premises, supply equipment and train specialists. It is planned to create 1,000 jobs. The parties intend to supply products to the local market and export to China. The total investment is 200 million euros.

“Regarding the export of meat products to China, we have the support of the state. This country is a huge market for us. We are ready to help you at every stage of the project. North Kazakhstan region is suitable for the opening of production. Our land is fertile, very convenient geographical location. This is a highly profitable business. We are ready to work,” Kumar Aksakalov said.

Ambassador of France in Kazkhastan added that he supports the initiative and is ready to provide help for the implementation of the project.
