Miri-Pak, a large Azerbaijani company producing canned foods in the country's Saatli district, may resume its activities in the 2H2019, Gezenfer Akhverdiyev, the director of the company, told Trend.
The director noted that the company has suspended its activities due to certain financial problems.
"We are currently solving the company's internal problems, and we expect to resume production in the 2H2019," Akhverdiyev said.
Akhverdiyev noted that the company manufactures compotes, marinades, jams, narsharab (a sauce from pomegranate juice) and concentrated juice.
"We are planning to resume export deliveries after the production is fully operational again," he said.
The company's products were exported to the US, Canada, the Republic of Korea, Israel, as well as to some countries of Europe and the CIS.
