Prestij Nakhchivan Pivesi, a beer producer in the Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) plans to increase production, Seyfaddin Rahimov, the director of the company, told Trend.
This is due to the fact that there is a great demand for the beer of this company in Nakhchivan, and in Azerbaijan in general, the director said.
"We plan to expand production to fully meet domestic demand. However, we do not plan to export beer. Export is not on the company's agenda for 2019," Rahimov said.
Nakhchivan beer is sold in bottles.
The company uses equipment made in Italy, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany.
