The reconstruction of the tobacco processing plant located in Chelebikhan village of Azerbaijan’s Sheki district is expected to be completed in May 2019, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation (AIC) on April 16.
The plant is being reconstructed in accordance with the requirements and tasks specified within the “State Program for the Development of the Tobacco Industry in Azerbaijan for 2017–2021”.
"According to the plant reconstruction project, 30 new fire-fighting tanks with a capacity of 150 cubic meters, as well as water storage tanks with a capacity of 30 cubic meters are being built on a 0.9 hectare-land,” AIC said. “A modern heating system, a storehouse and a septic tank are planned to be constructed. Most of the work on the construction of underground and overground communication lines, installation of a monolithic reinforced concrete basin with drying chambers has been completed."
