The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan is stepping up business training in the regions of Azerbaijan aimed at supporting the women who want to start their own businesses, Sakina Babayeva, Head of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, told Trend.

According to Babayeva, the Association is consistently expanding the training network in the regions and increasing the number of consultations in the border areas.

"At present, we have strengthened the work aimed at developing business in the field of agriculture and increasing the level of marketing and management. Our specialists are actively working in the Fuzuli district. In our view, there is a great need for women entrepreneurs in this border area to study the market in more detail and learn how to conduct business," Babayeva said.

The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan was established with the support of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan in October 2017. Over 143,000 women are engaged in business in Azerbaijan, according to the statistics.
