The Belarusian-Uzbek joint venture Zdravushka Tashkent has been registered in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to the Belarusian embassy in Uzbekistan.

The founder of the enterprise from the Belarusian side is OJSC Zdravushka-Milk.

The embassy noted that the joint project with the Uzbek side envisages the construction of a dairy complex for a cattle stock of about one thousand heads and a dairy plant with a capacity of up to 50 tons of milk per day.

The company will focus only on the production of whole-milk products.

The agreements on the construction of the dairy complexes in Uzbekistan by the Belarusian side were reached following the visit of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Uzbekistan in September 2018.

Belarusian company Zdravushka-Milk produces more than 145 types of dairy products which include pasteurized and sterilized drinking milk, kefir and bio-kefir, sour cream and bio-sour cream, cottage cheese, sweet curd masses and curd cheeses, milk cocktails and sour milk drinks, yogurts and bio-yoghurts, butter cheese, skim milk powder and casein.
