The Uzbek-Turkish joint venture East Mining Invest and the leading German company Wehrhahn signed a memorandum on the construction of five factories for the production of aerated concrete blocks in Uzbekistan in the amount of over 130 million euros, Trend reports citing Gazeta.uz.

Plants for the production of aerated concrete blocks by the method of autoclaving will have a capacity of 2.05 million cubic meters per year.

The first plant with the annual production capacity of 500,000 cubic meters will be launched at the end of 2019 on the territory of the Angren FEZ in Ahangaran.

The autoclaved aerated concrete block is an artificial stone with uniformly distributed air pores throughout the volume. It is also an economical building material. It is believed that using the German equipment guarantees savings of natural gas and electricity in the production process.

Aerated concrete block is practically non-aging material, as it does not rot and does not burn. Due to the closed porous structure, its heat insulating and sound insulating properties are 5–8 times higher than that of concrete and brick. Aerated concrete block is an environmentally friendly and harmless product, since its main components are natural materials: quartz sand, lime, cement and gypsum.

By 2020, the company plans to build the enterprise in Navoi region. Due to its convenient location, the plant will provide its products to the Samarkand, Bukhara and Kashkadarya regions.

In 2021, it is planned to build a plant with the annual production capacity of 350,000 cubic meters in the Fergana region. It will provide gas-concrete blocks of autoclaved curing the entire territory of the Fergana Valley.

The construction of a plant with a production capacity of 350,000 cubic meters of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks in Termez is planned for 2022. The products of this plant are planned to be sold on the market of the Surkhandarya region and exported to Afghanistan.

It is also planned to build another plant with a production capacity of 500,000 cubic meters of aerated concrete blocks in Tashkent in 2022.
