Loan volume increases in Kazakhstan

In April 2019 the loan portfolio of second tier banks of Kazakhstan has decreased by annual 1.8 percent and amounted to 13.2 trillion tenge, Trend reports via Ranking.kz

Furthermore, the loans of banks directed at the economy decreased by 1.1 percent and stood at 12.57 trillion tenge.

In comparison, the volume of loans to citizens is steadily increasing with the 19 percent increase of physical persons loans. The consumer loans the annual increase of which amounted to 14.9 percent are among key segments of loan support.

Out of the major credit banks of Kazakhstan the minimal annual effective rate on consumer loans is provided by ForteBank (0.1 percent and more).

It is followed by Halyk Bank with the annual effective remuneration rate on life insurance starts from one percent. The third bank with the minimal rate is ATFBank (17.2 percent and more).

The maximum period of the loan is offered by ATFBank (up to 84 months), whereas the minimal period of loan is provided by Bank Home Credit (up to 18 months).

The most popular period of loan is up to 60 months and it is offered by nine out of ten banks. Furthermore, some four banks also offer the period of loan up to 48 percent.

Furthermore, the maximum loan amount of seven million tenge is offered by ForteBank and CenterCredit. ATFBank also offers maximum loan amount of seven million tenge but only to loyal customers.
