Turkmenistan is among stable importers of Kazakh grain in January-April 2019, Trend reports referring to Kazakhstan's LS news agency.
Turkmenistan purchased 115,500 tons worth $21.5 million during the reporting period.
In general, 2.1 million tons of wheat were exported from Kazakhstan in January-April 2019. The biggest volume of grain was shipped to Uzbekistan, namely, 759,500 tons of wheat worth $118.7 million.
In previous years, Turkmenistan bought less than 40,000 tons of wheat from Kazakhstan annually.
