Azerbaijani producer of apple chips - Crispa Snacks company - plans to export deliveries in the East China direction, Trend reports citing company representative.

The representative stated that products are planned to be delivered to Shanghai.

"Our products have raised interest in the Chinese market, so the company intends to expand the geography of exports. So far, there are no agreements related to exports to China. However, we are planning to begin negotiations with foreign partners in the near future," a source noted.

He stressed that negotiations on export are already underway with European partners including supply of products to Germany in the amount of 50 tons.

"The production process uses French varieties of green and red apples that are grown in Gusar. Dried apple chips are made from apples of the Royal Gala and Granny Smith varieties that do not contain GMOs. Three fresh fruits are used to produce one package of finished products. The cost of one package is from 1.50 to 1.8 manat," he said.
