Projects worth over $260M to be realized in Kazakhstan's region

A number of projects worth over 100 billion tenge ($261 million) will be implemented in Akmola region of Kazakhstan, said Head of the Region Yermek Marzhykpayev, Trend reports with reference to press office of the administrative center of the region.

“Five projects worth 9.3 billion tenge will be implemented within the framework of the ‘Industrialization Map’, whereas another 118 projects worth 100 billion tenge will be implemented beyond the map. These projects will allow to create 2,000 new work places,” the report said.

Furthermore, 286 ventures meeting certain criteria have been selected for preferential lending of projects within the ‘Economy of simple things’ State program.

“Some 69 projects of processing industry worth 82 billion tenge and projects of agribusiness worth one billion tenge have been selected. Currently 10 of them have been approved,” the head of the region said.

Several ventures within the ‘Economy of simple things’ program have already been opened in the region.
