Total capital of Georgian companies registered in Turkey increases

In January-June 2019, nine companies with Georgian capital were registered in Turkey, which is identical to the number of Georgian companies registered in the first half of the previous year, Trend reports referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.

The total capital of Georgian companies registered in Turkey in January-June 2019 amounted to 1,555,000 Turkish liras, while in the same period of 2018 this figure was 792,300 Turkish liras.

In this period, most of the Georgian companies were registered in Istanbul (seven companies), whose total capital amounted to 1,305,000 Turkish liras.

“In January-June 2019, three industrial and four wholesale and retail companies with Georgian capital were registered in Turkey. The rest of the registered companies with Georgian capital are involved in other sectors of the economy," according to the union.

The total capital of the four companies in wholesale and retail trade amounted to 700,000 liras.
