Sheki Sherab LLC, an Azerbaijani winery, may establish a monthly export of wine products to Poland, the winery’s director Vidadi Hasanov told Trend.
He said that since the beginning of the year, the plant has sent the first cargo of alcoholic beverages to this country.
“These were trial volumes in the form of a single container in the amount of up to 2,000 bottles of wine,” he noted. “Meanwhile, our foreign partners intend to buy up to 30,000 bottles of wine from us every month. The capacity of the Sheki plant allows for the export of such volumes, therefore we intend to cooperate with Polish partners, as well as promote our products to other European markets.”
The director noted that the company has received a similar offer from Belarus, and plans to establish exports to this country as well.
Sheki Sherab LLC was founded in 2006 with design production capacity of 280,000 bottles of wine. The company has equipment supplied by Italian company “Della Toffola.”
There are workshops for receiving grapes, and producing and bottling of various brands of wine at the plant. The plant has two bunkers for receiving white and red grape varieties, two production lines for white and red wines, and one more line for the production of elite wines.
