Shares of 15 Iranian state-owned companies will be traded on the stock market by the end of the current Iranian year (on March 20, 2020), Iranian Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Farhad Dejpasand said in a statement published on the Iranian Parliament's website, Trend reports.
According to Dejpasand, large privatization has already begun and a number of oil refineries, the Alborz Insurance Company and other state-owned enterprises have been traded on the stock exchange.
Dejpasand added that the government is waiting for customers so as to sell these shares. "The prices for privatization, along with privatization options, have been made varied to facilitate the sale of shares," he said.
