In January-July 2019, the volume of export of Uzbekistan was recorded at $10.88 billion (an increase of 44.5 percent compared to the same period last year), Trend reports referring to State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
The share of exported goods by industries amounted to 82.8 percent, of which energy carriers and oil products comprised 15.5 percent, textiles and textile products - 8.4 percent, food products - 8.3 percent, non-ferrous metals and metal products - 5.1 percent, and chemical products and products from it - 4.9 percent, read the message.
The volume of exports excluding gold amounted to $7.42 billion and increased by 24.2 percent.
During the reporting period, the number of entities involved in the export of goods and services, compared with the same period last year, increased by 838 units, totaling to 4,540 units.
The largest share of exports by products is occupied by natural gas (a share in the total export of goods is 17 percent), textiles (10.1 percent), copper and its products (4.5 percent), fruits and berries (4.1 percent).
The main partners in the export of goods and services in foreign trade of Uzbekistan in January-July 2019 were China (16.4 percent of total exports), Russia (12.8 percent), Kazakhstan (7.6 percent), Turkey (6.1 percent), Kyrgyzstan (3.9 percent), Afghanistan (2.9 percent) and Tajikistan (1.6 percent).
The number of partner countries for the export of goods and services compared with the same period last year increased from 144 to 151 countries.
