Some 585 companies with Iranian capital were registered in Turkey in January-July 2019, which is 105 companies more compared to the same period of 2018, Trend reports on Aug. 23, referring to Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges.
The total capital of Iranian companies registered in Turkey in January-July 2019 amounted to 83.761 million Turkish liras, while in the same period of 2018 this figure was 60.929 million Turkish liras.
In January-July 2019, the biggest number of Iranian companies was registered in Istanbul (475 companies), with the total capital of 59.492 million Turkish liras.
“During the reporting period, 46 companies with Iranian capital were registered in Antalya province,” reads the report. “Their total capital amounted to 5.683 million liras.”
Three mining, 56 industrial, and 266 wholesale and retail companies with Iranian capital were registered in Turkey in January-July 2019.
The remaining 260 companies registered with Iranian capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.
The total capital of 266 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reporting period amounted to 42.788 million liras.
