Export value of products from Iran’s North Khorasan province to Turkmenistan declining

The export value of the products from Iran’s north-eastern North Khorasan province to Turkmenistan is declining, Reza Firouza, Chairman of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the North Khorasan province Reza Firouza said, Trend reports referring to the organization’s website.

The products worth $47 million were exported from North Khorasan province to Turkmenistan in 2014-2015 (March 21, 2014 - March 21, 2015), and the products worth $40 million were exported in 2015-2016 (March 21, 2015 – March 21, 2016), Firouza added.

Firouza noted that the products worth $16 million were exported in 2016-2017 (March 21, 2016 - March 21, 2017) and the products worth $18 million were exported in 2017-2018 (March 21, 2017 - March 21, 2018) to Turkmenistan.

This figure dropped up to $9 million last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019), he said. He added that currently, the value of the exports amounts to $1 million.
