Iran's producer price index (PPI) inflation rate has reached 69.5 percent in spring, compared to the same period last year, according to the Statistical Center of Iran, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Meanwhile, the power sector had the lowest inflation rate, and the industrial sector had the highest one.
Comparing to previous season, the PPI inflation rate in spring had reached 14.4 percent and has increased 5.6 percent.
The data shows that the lowest seasonal inflation rate was in the power sector (-4.2 percent), in the services sector it stood at 5.9 percent, while in the industry sector it was 13.7 percent.
The highest inflation rate in spring belonged to agriculture sector with 35.5 percent.
The power sector had the lowest inflation rate (-17.3 percent), and the industrial sector had the highest one (88.7 percent).
With regards to annual inflation rate, the average change in PPI has increased 58.6 percent in spring, in the current Iranian year.
The lowest annual inflation rate accounted for the power sector (-2.2 percent), while the highest - for the industrial sector (77.2 percent).
