Tire recycling launched in Kazakhstan's Akmola region

The first in Kazakhstan’s Akmola region manufacturing complex for recycling of used tires has been launched, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Sberbank Kazakhstan.

According to the press office, 100,000 tons of tires waste gets accumulated in Kazakhstan each year, and the issue of their recycling is very relevant in Kazakhstan as well as around the world.

To address the issue in the country, ABM ECOSHINA venture has been established.

According to the information, the funding of the project worth 16 million tenge has been allocated by the Sberbank Kazakhstan within the framework of the national Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship for 2017-2021. The project has also been supported by DAMU fund, which has allocated the guarantee worth 13.9 million tenge.

This venture will be manufacturing rubber crumb via recycling of used tires. The rubber crumb is being used for manufacturing of tartan surfaces. In the future, the company is planning to purchase additional equipment for manufacturing technical carbohydrates, net metalcord and pyrolysis oil.
