Exchange price of gas on Uzbek Commodity Exchange down by 20%

According to the results of exchange trading on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) from September 16 to September 20, 2019, different price dynamics were observed in various commodity segments of the exchange market, Trend reports citing UZEX.

During the period under review, 3,221 tons of RON-91 brand gasoline were put up for exchange trading at UZEX, of ​​which 3,062 tons of gasoline were sold. The stock exchange quotation for RON-91 gasoline has not changed compared to the previous week and amounted to 6.452 million soums per ton.

Last week, producers of liquefied natural gas sold 6,798 tons of liquefied natural gas for a total of 22 billion soums. The exchange price of gas decreased by 20.3 percent and amounted to 3,257 million soums per ton.

In the black metal market, slight changes were observed. The price of ST 12-35 GS (measure length) fittings fell by only 0.1 percent and amounted to 5.763 million soums per ton. The total sales of all types of ferrous metal amounted to 6,200 tons.

The price of gold rose due to an increase in its starting value. According to the results of weekly trading at the UZEX, only 100 grams of Au-1 grade gold worth 45.5 million soums were sold. The stock quote amounted to 454,500 soums per 1 gram of gold, with an increase of 0.3 percent compared to the previous week.

The cement market is also showing slight growth. A weekly quotation for cement grade PC M-400 D-20 was fixed at 481,900 soums per ton, which is 0.5 percent more than a week earlier. The price range of other running brands of cement is 360,200 – 620,000 soums per ton.

There was a high demand for cotton fiber on the exchange. The quotation for cotton fiber of the 1st grade of type 4 (middle class) increased by 4.1 percent last week and amounted to 13.2 million soums per ton. The price of other fiber varieties varied on average from 9.6 to 14 million soums per ton.

The exchange price for film polyethylene F-0120 last week amounted to 12.9 million soums per ton, with an increase of 1.4 percent. The total sales volume of polyethylene on the exchange amounted to 1,900 tons.

The balance was maintained in the urea market. The stock price for urea decreased by 1.1 percent and amounted to 1,761 million soums per ton. In total, 39,000 tons of mineral fertilizers were sold through exchange trading over the week.
