Kazakhstan attracts over $20B of investments in 9 months

The value of investments into the fixed capital of Kazakhstan has amounted to 8.571 trillion tenge (approximately $21.894 billion) during first nine months of 2019, which is 9.7 percent more than during the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the data of Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Furthermore, value of industrial manufacturing during the reporting period amounted to 21.409 trillion tenge (approximately $54.915 billion), which is 3.3 percent more than during the same period of last year.

Thus, manufacturing in mining and quarrying industries increased by 3.1 percent, in processing industry by 3.5 percent, in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 2.9 percent, in water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 4.8 percent.

The volume of gross product output in agriculture, forestry and fisheries during the reporting period stood at 3.668 trillion tenge (approximately $9.408 billion), which is 0.5 percent less than during the same period of last year.

The value of construction work during the reporting period of 2019 amounted to 2.915 trillion tenge, which is 13.5 percent more than during the same period of last year.

Furthermore, consumer prices index was 103.3 percent in September 2019 compared to December 2018.
