Kazakhstan’s only lowcoster launches regular flights on new routes

Kazakhstan’s only lowcoster FlyArystan company has announced the launch of the regular flights on the routes Almaty-Kyzylorda-Almaty and Nur-Sultan-Kyzylorda-Nur-Sultan, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Kyzylorda regional akimat (administrative center).

As reported, the cost of the tickets will be from 5,999 tenge (approximately $15).

The flights will be operated seven times a week starting from March 2020. Tickets sale starts in January 2020.

On November 19, 2019, it was announced that Kazakhstan’s Air Astana company has signed letters of intent to purchase 30 Boeing 737 MAX airliners as the base fleet of the low-cost airline FlyArystan.

Previously, FlyArystan was implementing flights from Taraz, Shymkent, Pavlodar, Semey to Nur-Sultan and back. Kyzylorda is a new route for the company.

FlyArystan is the first and only low-cost air company of Kazakhstan, fully owned subsidiary of Air Astana. The company started selling tickets online in March 2019.
