The number of purchase and sale of housing transactions in Kazakhstan amounted to 292,269 transactions during 11 months of 2019, which is 20.4 percent more compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the Kazakhstan’s Committee of Statistics.
In turn, the number of transactions made in November 2019 amounted to 25,959 transactions, which indicates a decrease by 16.5 percent.
The TOP-3 Kazakh areas by the number of transactions made includes Almaty city (3,933 transactions), Nur-Sultan (3,088 transactions) and Karaganda region (2,793 transactions).
Thus, the number of purchase and sale of housing transactions decreased by 10.8 percent in Almaty city in November compared to October, number of transactions in Nur-Sultan decreased by 24.4 percent, number of transactions in Karaganda region by 13 percent.
The leading region by the increase in the number of transactions implemented in November is country’s Mangystau region. The number of transactions in the region amounted to 1,248 transactions in November, which is 8.3 percent more compared to October.
In turn, the most significant decrease in the number of transactions is observed in Almaty region, where 1,771 transactions were made, which is 25.7 percent less than in October 2019.
