Azerbaijani-Chinese industrial joint venture Elektrogas LLC has sold more than 3,000 combi boilers in the domestic market since early 2019, director of the company Elnur Jamilli told Trend.
“The company previously planned to achieve such a high sales volume for the entire current year,” the director added.
“In accordance with our preliminary calculations, the annual sales volume was planned to reach up to 3,000 combi boilers,” Jamilli said. “Taking into account great demand for them in the domestic market, final indicators of the year will greatly exceed our forecast.”
“Presently, the company produces combi boilers with a capacity from 24 kW to 52 kW,” the director said. “We plan to increase these figures up to 100 kW. We plan to produce up to 100,000 combi boilers per year in the future.”
Jamilli stressed that the company’s combi boilers will be exported to the foreign markets under the Made in Azerbaijan brand.
"The company produces six varieties of combi boilers, three of which are intended for export,” the director said. “The company’s combi boilers are sold domestically at a very reasonable price. One combi boiler is 450 manat ($264) with a two-year warranty period.”
“Azerbaijani combi boilers are cheaper than those imported to Azerbaijan, for example, from China,” Jamilli said. “The cheapest combi boilers imported from China is 550 manat ($323).”
“The advantage of domestic products is that they can be used even at the lowest gas pressure,” the director said.
The local and Chinese investments in the amount of two million manat ($1.2 million) were spent to establish the company. The investment volumes worth up to 11 million manat ($6 million) are planned to be increased in the future.
The company has been operating since April 2019. Elektrogas company is located in Baku’s Zabrat settlement.
