Over $5M invested in enterprises of Iran's Khomeyn county

In the current Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), 10 manufacturing and industry facilities started operations, thanks to 233 billion rials (roughly $5.5 million) worth of investments in Khomeyn county of Iran's Markazi province, Director of Khomeyn Industry, Mine and Trade Organization Reza Soleymani said, Trend reports with reference to the website of Markazi Province Industry, Mine and Trade Organization.

The enterprises manufacture industrial equipment, building materials, rubber, automotive parts and chemical products, the director said.

Some 52 people have been provided with jobs at the new enterprises, according to Soleymani.

In the current Iranian year, 18 industrial enterprises have been licensed, Soleymani said, adding that it is planned to allocate 474 billion rials (about $11.2 million) of investments for them.

According to forecast, minimum 159 people will be employed in the licensed industrial enterprises, the director added.

There are 160 production, industry and mining enterprises in the Khomeyn county of Markazi province, which employ about 2,000 people.
