Azerbaijan's Baku Textile Factory will present a new line of women's outerwear in 2020, the factory's Director Sakina Babayeva told Trend.

"Monthly volumes of women's clothing range between 30,000-35,000 units. The launch of the new line will increase production to 40,000-45,000 units per month. In parallel, this will positively affect the export of finished clothes abroad," Babayeva said.

"Last year, we held many meetings and negotiations with potential and real partners, verbal and written agreements related to export were reached. Therefore, this year we plan to significantly increase production volumes, as well as export deliveries outside the country," she said.

Sakina Babayeva noted that the Baku Textile Factory increased production by 40 percent in 2019, compared to 2018.

Some 300 people work in the Baku Textile Factory and seven production lines are used.

The factory has been operating since 1939. Presently, the factory continues its activity upon the European standards by using Germany’s and Japan’s modern equipment and technologies.

The factory produces everyday clothes, evening dresses, corporate clothing, children's clothes, sportswear, medical uniforms, as well as overalls, school uniforms and all types of workwear, including promo clothing and military uniforms.
