Iranian citizens purchased 5,423 real estate properties in Turkey from January through December 2019, which is 1,171 properties more compared to the same period of 2018, Turkey’s General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadaster told Trend on Jan. 22.
In December 2019, Iranian citizens purchased 763 properties in Turkey, which is 328 properties more compared to December 2018.
Total number of real estate properties sold in Turkey in 2019 exceeded 1.3 million properties, which is 1.9 percent less compared to 2018.
Some 45,483 real estate properties in Turkey were sold to foreigners in 2019, which is 14.7 percent more compared to 2018.
