The share of the domestic exports in total export of Georgia constituted 67.4 percent and amounted to $177.1 million in January 2020, Trend reports referring to Georgian National Statistical Service (Geostat).
As reported, this is 12.4 percent higher compared to January 2019.
In the reporting period, the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled $262.6 million, 10 percent higher compared to January 2019.
In January 2020, the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 85.7 percent. The top partners were China ($43.3 million), Russia ($30.5 million) and Bulgaria ($23.8 million).
In January 2020, copper ores and concentrates reclaimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling $49.4 million, or 27.9 percent of total exports.
The exports of precious metal ores and concentrates totaled $16 million, and their share in the total exports amounted to 9 percent. The ferro-alloys exports occupied the third place standing at $15.4 million and constituting 8.7 percent of the total exports.
